NICU
The term “neonates” applies to all infants during the first 28 days of life. Neonatal Intensive care unit is designed for premature or sick infants requiring cardio-respiratory monitoring and care such as oxygen therapy or ventilators, or any form of surgery.
We provide specialized nursery care for babies from 27 weeks gestation onwards. Premature and sick babies are clinically assessed and cared for in the NICU.
Our well designed NICU is equipped with all the modern equipment’s such as ventilator’s, incubators, cardiac monitors, CPAP machine, airvo, phototherapy machines to meet the needs of the tiniest and the sickest newborn.
Our neonatal services includes:
- Prematurity (24 weeks gestation or more)
- Intrauterine growth retardation/small for gestational age
- Low blood sugar
- Respiratory (breathing) problems
- Infections
- Seizures
- Temperature instability
- Assistance with feeding
- Phototherapy
The department has the capability of transporting the sick babies by means of a transport incubator. There is a 24 hours Ambulance Service to transport such babies from place of delivery to our NICU.
Paediatric ICU
Our department provides care to sick children with the highest level of medical care.
Service is provided 24-hours a day and includes diagnosis, consultation, management and follow-up care administered by a highly-experienced team of pediatric Intensive care specialist & nurses. A PICU comes with intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of aspects like breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure of the child.

Paediatric Surgery
We provide comprehensive care to Newborn infants, children, adolescents and young adults with surgical problems. Service is provided 24-hours a day and includes diagnosis, consultation, management and follow-up care administered by a highly-experienced team of pediatric surgeons, nurses and other specialists such as pediatric anesthesiologists.
